Yes, wire to the button as you would for any buzzer or chime (or add the 'pull' for extra authenticity).

Will my transformer be suitable?
Yes, any standard bell transformer (including international) will operate the transformer powered doorbell.

Can I run more than 1 doorbell from my transformer?

Yes, at least 2 shakers can be run from the lowest specification standard doorbell transformer.

How loud is the bell?
The bell is loud (and heavy) for it's size. It makes for a very effective doorbell even in quite large houses.
